Mandala Workshop: Oscailt Integrative Health Centre - Jan 28th 2012

This was the first workshop of 2012 and also my first collaborative workshop. Patricia Lohan was a special guest and she really contributed in the most wonderful way by enhancing the day with sound. That most sacred of sounds arising from her Tibetan singing bowls.

This felt like a really close knit and cosy workshop. With everybody really warming to each other from arrival. Pearl and Michael were particularly wonderful gifts to the group as they are a little more senior than the rest of us. We were bathed in the wisdom they shared...... and shared, and blessed for it.

I have mentioned before that I am noticing in these workshops a type of group mind that seems to emerge. This takes on the form of similar themes being shared by people. One of these themes that I personally found particularly dominant at this workshop was the importance of our body for spiritual practice. This was shared by a number of people and references to treating our body like a lush garden were used. To care for it to water it to nourish it. A lesson that I am really grateful for and have acted on since!

Mandala Workshop: Shell Cottage - Carton House - Maynooth - Nov 19th 2011

One of the things I am most grateful for since I began this project with mandalas is the way in which the universe has opened up for me and 'helped' me share this passion with people. A specific example of this is how welcoming and progressive the owners of this wonderful hotel were to this work. I mean not only did they support it and grant permission to hold the work in this wonderful space, but they are really interested and understand it and wish to attend someday.

This place just has to be seen to believed it is just so special and it is so perfect for this work with mandalas. I had a wonderful group of people attend this time and it was so magic to be walking out in the the dark down to a running waterfall to complete the deconstruction ritual at the end of the day.

Wonderful learning's emerged 'for' people 'from' people at this workshop. It is as if there is a higher hand involved in selecting the combination of people to help those very things emerge that people just seem to need most. Beautiful.

Mandala Workshop: Dunderry Park 22nd OCT 2011

This workshop was really something special. I am beginning to notice that each occasion when a group of humans come together to do inner work a certain collective field is activated. Like a meta personality or a group mind of sorts.

Such was the case with this workshop.

The wonderful people who attended were all quite adept at inner work. Dunderry Park is a place of great power due to the beautiful nature surrounding it but also because the quantity of spiritual and inner work that has been conducted there for many years.

I felt a certain depth of experience was shared by the participants and the share group blew me away.

Crop Circles And The Cosmic Code

Crop Circles represent many things for many people. I have never stood in one so I am not qualified to comment in that regard. However I have spent many hours totalling days immersed in creating mandalas based on the geometry exhibited in crop circles.

There is a sacred code that keeps recurring in many circles year on year.  This code of number was known by the architects of Stonehenge, was harnessed by the philosopher Plato and points to the patterns of the heavens........ Literally.
This sacred code is made up of certain power numbers. 5040 is particularly significant.
Cosmologically: -
Radius of the earth in miles = 3960 + Radius of the moon in miles = 1080 =5040
Mathematically: -
It divides the numbers one to ten at the pivotal number 7
1 x 2 x 3 x 4 x 5 x 6 x 7 = 5040
7 x 8 x 9 x 10 = 5040
Now have a look at this crop circle that appeared overnight at White Sheet Hill in England in 2010



There are 168 small circles (84 solid & 84 with centres) multiply those by the medium sized 30 circles and you get that magic number 5040. (168 x 30)
Gematria is an ancient art that denotes letters of the Greek alphabet to each number. You can use this to translate numbers into their corresponding words.
When you apply the convention of Gematria to the number 5040 it means
                                                                THE GOOD
                                                Or           THE HOLY
Ok just for fun you see the 7 large circles remaining;  7 divided into 5040, gives you 720 (another number of this cosmic code) The meaning of which through Gematria is:
                                                                DIVINE INTELLEGENCE
So there you have it; this crop circle is pointing to ‘the good, the holy, Divine Intelligence’  of the creative principle herself.
Whoever the authors of these divine imprints are, I am in no doubt they are of very enlightened mind.

Interview with the head of the Global Holotropic Breathwork School GTT.

Tav Sparks is the Director at Grof Transpersonal Training and is the person that Stanislav Grof entrusted with the development of his school and technique Holotropic Breathwork since his retirement. Working with thousands of people in enhanced states of awareness for over 20 years Tav is amongst the world’s most experienced people in helping people access their inner healing power. Tav, for me has been the greatest spiritual teacher I have come across yet. He has a real honesty and fantastic energy when talking about how we can harness the power of our higher selves. His style of delivery and perspective on consciousness really works for me. In this short chat I asked him about the power of working with mandalas as a technique for bringing the contents of our unconscious into to our awareness. I think this video is a good way for me to share with you how the Holotropic perspective has explicitly influenced my work with mandalas. Enjoy

Shell Cottage Mandala Workshop

The last mandala work shop was outstanding, made all the more special by the location:

The group of people that attended were really magical and by the end of the day every one felt that little step closer to wholeness.

I was personally encouraged again by how this work can connect with a wide range of people in different ways.

The unconscious really does emerge differently for everyone, but the process is active in all of us.

Belinteer House Mandala Workshop June 4th 2011

Last month's workshop was a great success.

There was an amazing group of people and once again a wide range of experiences.

I can definitely say that the feeling by the end of the day was one of real positivity and a 'feel-good after glow' for all.

I also LOVE the location. The little room is so cute and I couldn't dream up a nicer room for this work. It has privacy, lovely light, and even a regular supply of tea and treats from the lovely staff from the hotel.

This location is definitely going to be be a regular spot for the workshops. Keep and eye on the schedule page.
